Biography
John Reid Allan was born around 1848, the son of Ann Ritchie and Archibald Pouch Allan.
He married Jean Wingate Masson in 1876 in Victoria, Australia.[1] Their children were:

- Robert Ritchie Allan (1881– )[4]
