Jane ALDERSEA was born on 27 December 1850 in West Derby, Lancashire, England[1] and was christened on 30 December 1849 at St. Mary-The-Virgin, West Derby, Lancashire, England[2]. Her parents were Richard ALLERSEA and Elizabeth SPARKS.

1851, infant, Jane ALLDERSEA (listed as ALLDERSAY) was living in West Derby, Lancashire, England with her parents, Richard (28, gardener) and Elizabeth (31) and a servant Margaret HESKETH (10)[3].

Thomas William WATSON and Jane ALLDERSEA were married on 22 February 1872 in Independant Church, Prahran, Victoria, Australia[4].

No immigration has been found for Jane, her mother, Elizabeth or sister Mary Alice. They would have arrived in Australia between 1851 and 1854. Father Richard arrived in 1852 on the ship, Morton. Sister. Mary Alice was born in 1851 in England Brother, Thomas was born in 1855 in Prahran, Victoria.
