Biography
Raleigh Albury is part of a Bahamian family.
Raleigh was born in 1896. He was the son of Edward Albury and Adrella Nottage.
In the 1910 census Raleigh (age 13) was the son-in-law of Eddie W Albury in Key West Ward 2, Monroe, Florida, United States.[1]
In 1918, he was working as a chauffeur for the Key West Box Company. (See photo)
In the 1920 census Raleigh (age 23), Cigar Maker, was the married head of household in Key West Ward 3, Monroe, Florida.[2]
In the 1930 census Raleigh (age 34), Oil Pumper, was the married head of household at 1410 Petronia Street, Key West, Monroe, Florida, United States.[3]
In the 1940 census Raleigh (age 44), Oil Pumper, was the married head of household in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia, Florida.[4]
In the 1950 census Raleigh (age 54) was the married head of household in New Smyrna, Volusia, Florida, United States.[5]
He passed away in 1972.[6] Burial was in the Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida.[7]
