Biography

William George Aitken was born about 1844 in London, England, son of Sarah Ann (Gaubert) Aitken and John Milne Kitson Aitken.^[1]

He married Harriet Eliza Shepperd in 1875 in Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their son was:

• Iva Victor Aitken (1890– )^[3]

William died on 25 December 1894 in Broadford, Victoria, aged 50 years.^[4] He was buried at Broadford Cemetery.^[1]
