Biography
Alice (Airey) Abbott was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Alice Pearl Airey was born in 1875 in Sydney, New South Wales (Australia). She was the third daughter of George Airey and Emma Lord.

Alice married Thomas Abbott in 1903 in Sydney.
[2] They made their home at 14a Manning Road, Double Bay, where they raised their family of two daughters and a son:
Aged 84 years, she passed away on 10th November 1959 in Chatswood, New South Wales and is buried in Waverley Cemetery, Bronte. [4][5] The Sydney Morning Herald published a notice of death the following day: [3]
"ABBOTT, Alice Pearl. November 10, 1959, of 14a Manning Road, Double Bay, dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas Henry Abbott, and devoted mother of Marjorie, Barbara (Mrs. Norman Mainwaring) and Dr Jack Abbott, mother-in-law of Norman and dear grandmother of ... In her 85th year."
