Mattie married Arthur E. Spencer (born about October, 1895 in Menifee; son of Sarah Damie (Brown) Bailey).
Mattie died on April 15, 1994 in Mount Sterling, Montgomery, Kentucky, aged 94. She was buried in Machpelah Cemetery, Mount Sterling, Montgomery County, Kentucky.[1]
