Anna married Abner Haskin.
According to her son, Hyman's, biography, Anna, Abner, and their children moved to Washtenaw County, Michigan, United States in 1844, and to Kent County, Michigan, United States in the spring of 1849.[1]
In 1850, Anna and Abner were living in Oakfield, Kent County, Michigan, United States with their children: John A. Haskin, Joseph A. Haskin, Haymer Haskin, Alvira Ann Haskin, Sally Ann Haskin, Henry A. Haskin, and Abner S. Haskin. [2]
Around 1854, Anna, Abner, and their children moved to St. Joseph, Indiana, United States. [3]
In 1860, Anna and Abner was living in Walkerton, St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States with their sons, Henry Haskin and Abner Haskin. [4]
Anna's husband, Abner, passed away in 1861 and left all his real estate in St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States as well as his personal possessions to Anna in his will. He also appointed Anna as executor of his will along with her brother, John Adle. [5]
On 6 October 1866, Anna married Thomas Mapes in Marshall, Indiana, United States. [6]
In 1870, Anna and Thomas were living in Ferry, Oceana, Michigan, United States with Thomas' son, Stephen Mapes. [7]
In 1880, Anna was living in Orange Township, Kalkaska, Michigan, United States next door to her son, Hyman Haskin. [8]
Anna passed away on 30 July 1885 in Springfield Township, Kalkaska, Michigan, United States at the age of 78. The cause of death was recorded as old age. [9] She is buried at Clark Cemetery in Springfield Township, Kalkaska County, Michigan, United States. The inscription on her headstone reads: "Springfield Twp. Pioneers Settled 1869." Anna shares a headstone with Grant, Adella, and Hyman H. Haskin. [10]
