Biography

Josephine was born about 1855. She was the daughter of Matthew Adams and Hannah McCormick. She passed away in 1937 and was buried in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, in Colchester, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.

The informant on her death certificate was her niece, Beatrice Klie. Her age in the record was noted as 82 years 3 months and 1 day. While her birthdate was recorded on the certificate as August 1 1845, the year, based on her age at death, would actually make her birth year 1854. Her age in the 1881 census was noted as 25, making her birth year either 1854 or 1855. The date varies once again with another date, 31 Aug 1862, noted in the 1901 census. Presently, the birth year is shown in this profile as 1855, which matches closely to other census records found and is also the same as what is recorded in Find A Grave.

There is no indication that Josephine ever married.
