Biography

Samuel was born on 21 July 1714 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He was the son of Pelatiah Adams (1682-1746) and Lydia (Fletcher) Adams (1689-1766). He was the second son named Samuel.[1]

Samuel married Esther Fletcher on 28 August 1734 in Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.[2] His wife Esther died in 1745, and the widower Samuel married Esther Parker, the widow of Obadiah Emmerson, on 25 October 1746 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.[3]

Samuel died at age 78 on 15 February 1793 in Amsden, Windsor County, Vermont, USA. He is buried in the Plain Cemetery in Perkinsville, Windsor County, Vermont.[4]
