Biography

Rose was born about 1804. She CANNOT BE the daughter of Jonathan Acklom and Mary Constable: She may well be unconnected in any way to either of them, and perhaps (along with two alleged siblings) does not exist, though she is supposedly born in Nottingham.

Research

Rose and her two siblings need research, but they are side-shoots to the Acklom/Acklam trees with no obvious ancestors or descendants, so they are not a high priority. Rose is left as a marker, but Richard and Ann, who are more easily confused with known members of the family, should not be added unless much clearer evidence of their existence appears.

• Some of the otherwise reliable old Genealogies of the ACKLOMs of Wiseton include vague references to these three ACKLOMS Rose, Richard 1796 and Ann 1798 all given birth in Nottingham. They may not exist, they certainly cannot be the children of Mary CONSTABLE who is far too old and it seems improbable that they are children of her husband Jonathan.

We find no marriage or death in FreeBMD, but that starts 34 years after this vague birth originally with an impossible combination of parents and date of birth.
