I have never done a merge before, but I'm not yet certified for work on pre-1700 profiles, although I have many years of genealogical experience, and I want to explain what I'm doing to avoid ruffling feathers. Abraham-490 and Abraham-489 are the same person. Note that the death date is the same. As for the two different birth years, I have found no birth or age record for Noah, and he could have been born any time between about 1695 and 1709 (first marriage in 1729). The only other information in the record for Abraham-489 is a wife's name, Anne. Although Noah's first marriage to Mary Wynne is well documented, the only source I have found for his second marriage to Hannah _____ is in his estate file, where his widow Hannah Abraham renounces administration, and desires that James Abraham, Noah's son, should be the administrator. A witness to the renunciation is Benjamin Abraham, another of Noah's sons. Three people post bond for the execution of the will: James Abraham, Jonathan Wynne (brother of Noah's first wife, Mary Wynn, so Noah's brother-in-law) and Francis McConnolle (relationship unknown--maybe a relative of Hannah?). The person who created Abraham-459, might have thought that Hannah was a nickname for Anne.

I look forward to see if anyone has any comments on this.
