Biography
Grete was born July 17, 1893. Her parents were Selly Abraham and Ida (Unknown) Abraham.[1]
Grete married Richard Levi Friede September 13, 1917 in Nienburg, Lower Saxony, Germany.[1]
Greta fled Nazi Germany, arriving first in New Brunswick, Canada on 24 January 1941[2] Six months later, she immigrated to America, arriving in New York on 9 June 1941.
[3] Grete became a naturalized U.S. citizen on 20 Feb 1946.[4]
