John was born about 1745. He was the son of Enoch Abel and Judith Booth. He died in 1808 although his will was not probated until 1811. The Orphans Court Proceedings of August 1808 (page 106) list James Davis, George Clarke, and Elizabeth Abell posting security to administer his estate.
