Henry Livermore Abbott was an American soldier. Abbott served as a Major in the Union Army during the Civil War. Abbott was killed at the Battle of the Wilderness. For his gallant conduct at that battle, Abbott was posthumously awarded Brevet Brigadier General rank.
Henry was born in 1842. He was the son of Josiah Abbott and Caroline Livermore. He passed away in 1864.
