Herbert Aaron Sr. is a part of US Black heritage.

Herbert was born on Saturday, October 24, 1908.^[1]

Herbert was the father of baseball legend Hank Aaron.

He passed away on Thursday, May 21, 1998^[1] at his home in Mobile, Alabama.^[2] He lived 89 years, 6 months and 28 days. He is survived by his wife, Estella, three sons and three daughters.^[2] He was laid to rest in the Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, USA.^[3]
