We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities

Voor een geweldige start van de lente hebben we ook dit jaar weer een Spring Clean-a-Thon. Het plezier begint vrijdag 23 april om 14:00 uur en duurt tot maandag 26 april 14:00 vergeet niet je eerst aan te melden voor dit evenement (en doe dit met een ANSWER geen comment of reply) en vermeld natuurlijk ook in het antwoord dat je meedoet met the Flying Dutchmen- Vliegende Hollanders team!

After a great Liberation day challenge, the Connect-a-Thon is coming up, it will take place from Friday 17 July 2020-Monday 20 July 2020) so everyone is invited to join the Flying Dutchmen Team - Vliegende Hollanders..so let's all hop on the boat (teampage) ;) again and have some fun together. Allereerst een heel gelukkig en gezond 2020 gewenst ! Om het jaar goed te beginnen is er van vrijdag 10 januari (14:00 uur) tot en met maandag 13 januari (14:00 uur) weer een Scan-a-Thon dus als je zin hebt om mee te doen ?Meld je hier dan snel aan voor het evenement (reageer door te klikken op ANSWER en niet met een comment of reply!) en vermeld daarin ook dat je meedoet met het Flying Dutchmen- Vliegende Hollanders team ! Heb je zin om mee te doen met de eerstvolgende DRP Challenge? We hebben je er graag bij! Het gaat vooral om hulp, gezelligheid en elkaar beter leren kennen. Duurt van 30 december tot 6 januari. Maakt niet uit of je er elke dag bij bent. Elke bijdrage is welkom! Bovendien lijkt het ons gewoon geweldig om met elkaar al Wikitree-end het Nieuwe Jaar in te duiken!!! HIER vind je meer info.

I've already collected a lot of information, but I'm now more or less starting over, in order to be more precise in documenting my sources.
I've also been looking for a non-commercial website to publish my findings. WikiTree seems a very good place for that.
