Biography

I have been doing genealogy for about 4 years. I have made some mistakes along the way and learned a lot, especially how to fix them! :) I am a teacher and love to collaborate with others. I recently have started doing "in person" research and have really started taking advantage of local resources. Like many of us, this has became a squirrel that currently has my full attention. I am a member of my local genealogy society and hope to collaborate locally and online as my next steps in growing as a genealogist.

I have researched my father's family through the Northern United States back to Ireland and Czechoslovakia. It includes surnames such as: O'Neill, Linn, Rakusan, Novak, Olmsted.

My mother's family is from Germany and the I have found most of them in the Southern United States. It includes surnames such as: Rier, Adams, Langendorfer, Callahan.
