After graduating from high school and attending college, Diana moved to College Park, Maryland where her future husband, Dan Swingle attended college on a full paid scholarship for football.

She met Daniel Brian Swingle at the age of 15 on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas. Diana was on a typical weekend trip with her father and stepmother, Daniel age 16 at the time was on a family trip with his parents Paul William Swingle and Karen Sidaway Swingle both from Medina, Ohio but lived in Mars, Pennsylvania at the time Diana and Daniel met.

Diana married Daniel Brian Swingle on June 28, 1986 at the UMD Memorial Chapel, College Park, Maryland on the campus of The University of Maryland.

In October of 1986 Daniel and Diana moved to Denton, Texas to be closer to Daniel's family so he could recover from a severe back injury from football at the University of Maryland.

Son - Conner Daniel Swingle Sainz - born March 14, 1991 at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando, Florida

Daniel Brian Swingle and Diana Raquel Sainz Wilson divorced after 7 years of Marriage in March of 1993.

Diana has lived in Maryland, Texas, North Carolina, Southern California, Kentucky, and Missouri and proudly obtains dual citizenship and residency in her homeland of Spain. Sometimes feeling like a vagabond with no stable “home” so to speak, she finds this somewhat exciting but very tiresome as she craves for true love, normalcy, if that exist, and a place to call home.

Diana worked in Healthcare administration for Winter Park Hospital and Florida Hospital managing outpatient surgery and OBGYN in Orlando, Florida and was Department Head of OBGYN for Carolina's Physician Network in Charlotte, North Carolina, and worked on the Alzheimer and Dementia floor of the Presbyterian Home, home to independent, assisted living, and full healthcare to Senior Citizens.

After 18 years in Healthcare, in 2007, Diana left healthcare, picked up her lifelong passion, her cameras, and drove across the country to pursue her dreams and passions in Southern California

She is now an International Professional Photographer focusing on travel, vacations, honeymoon destinations, the oddest of the oddest and entertainment. She was awarded "Top 50 photographers to watch" in 2013.

She has had many articles and images published including two books, Signs of Life and Sacred Grounds - The Joshua Tree National Park and is working on three additional books regarding the:

Stonewall Jackson Correctional Facility founded by Mary Jackson in 1906 in Concord, North Carolina;

The Salton Sea, California's largest body of water and one of the United States most contaminated body of water, and

The Crucis Lignum, Santo Toribio. A monastery located in the Valley of Liébana in the Cantabrian Region that holds the largest known existing piece of the cross upon which Jesus was crucified on.

As a humanitarian she promotes and supports many cancer organizations and is the International Corporate Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Water Without Borders, a non-profit organization that implements the means, the development, and the support to countries and areas desperately in need of sustainable clean drinking water and sanitation. 'Saving Lives One Drop At A Time’, focusing on the well-being of children, as they are our future.

Diana's Vision and Mission in her work as an International Photographer is 'Photography With A Cause', Creating the ability to bring REAL LIFE to those who otherwise may never see not only the true beauty of this earth but the reality of the decaying, the sick, poverty, contaminated areas, polluted water and the number of children and adults who die each year due to our own faults. Exposing the truth that so many either choose to ignore or are completely oblivious.

Many proceeds from each of her projects are donated to different cancer foundations and or the areas of interest of the books to help the people in the area. A true humanitarian, grateful for the gifts and talents she was given but believe the world is full of talent that should be exposed as well. A firm believer that music does cure, she continues to be the voice of her father, promoting and producing his last recordings and music never released before to the public.

While she has a great ear for music, and can arrange sound and pitches, she cannot sing or play an instrument unless she is willing to humor someone and give them a great laugh. Like her mother, Pamela, she loves to paint but paints more abstract than the true artist she feels her mother is, as her mother has the ability to paint realism and turn everything she does into a masterpiece. Diana managed to obtain their artistic abilities through her parents but expresses them through photography and other art medias. She continues to photograph the world viewing it as she sees it through her lens. As she states, she may not be famous for her work, but if her purpose is to help someone else achieve their fame, then her purpose on earth has been completed.

Having the ability to share what she sees through the camera lens, capturing memories frame by frame, the beauty or reality of life, taking people to places they have never been, bringing loved ones together, the very essence of innocence on a child's face, or the excitement and happiness one experiences during a victorious event fulfills a passion and a humanitarian side.

“Photography has been my passion in life. My focus varies, allowing me to experience different subjects, types of photography, and gives me the opportunity to meet people of diverse cultures, and professions. My adult children have followed my family’s footsteps and have been an inspiration to much of what I do and are very artistic themselves. Their encouragement to pursue my dream has given me the freedom to put my heart in soul into a passion I love.”

In 2010 after her bold move to California not knowing a thing about the state she became the Production Manager and Director of Media and Public Relations for the Independent Film 'The Encore of Tony Duran' staring Elliott Gould, Gene Pietragallo, William Katt, Nikki Ziering and Cody Kasch.

In 2013 after 35 years, Diana reunited Alfonso Sáinz and Tim Coons (Producer of the Backstreet Boys and President of Cheiron Music Group) for a documentary she started to make on her father's life as leader of one of Spain's most famous pop and rock groups, Los Pekenikes, the 1960's and 1970's not knowing that in less than a year from the meeting, she would lose her father to the very rare cancer that he was one in five percent to survive in 1984 when she was 18 years old.

From this meeting, a fire was lit, and Alfonso was once again back in the recording studios working with Tim Coons on 'Tu Eres La Mujer' as well as 6 additional songs to be released one day soon, she prays, as this was her last and final promise to her father.

Dr. Sainz died on April 17th, 2014, he recorded the last song for his final album the week before his surgery. Her goal now, as she promised him, is to take it as far as she can go! “My father is now 'Cerca de las Estrellas', I miss him terribly!"

As of 2018 Diana continues to work on a documentary and the final release of her father's last CD ever recorded. Alfonso Sáinz, leader of one of Spain's most influential bands of the 60's and 70's, Los Pekenikes. -

Other interest: photography, painting, sewing, crafts, gardening, HER 5 BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILDREN, Riley, Lauren, Tyler, Elliott, and Ellie.
