I am an avid Family tree builder, for quite a number of years now. I did take a break for a couple of years, but getting back into it again now. Usually the winter months are the best, and then usually Summer it's too nice outside to be indoors with tree Building.

My Aunt on my mother's side who lives in Maine, helped me in the very beginning to start writing down names of Aunts, Grand Aunts, etc.

She always wondered what had happened to my 2 Grand Aunts that came to America in the 1950's.

Hello David,

Welcome to WikiTree. By now you should have received an email with helpful links to get you started on adding your family to ours.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.

Happy Hunting,

Jess
