Research Notes
I have gone through all of the Family Search records for the timeframe in Scotland with all of the variations on the name of McGowan, and I have found no records that confirm date of birth, any marriage, or parentage of son Matthew.
Nothing popped for Agnes Young either, besides a christening date with her father listed.
I suspect this person is a conflated Gedcom person from an invalid ancestry etc tree.
