I'm going to try and source this one ... I detached him from Anne (fl. 1485-89), dau. of Helen Tudor & Wm. Gardiner.

The unsourced website, https://our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com/p650.htm#i19527, lists John Brown I(born in 1467) and the father of John Brown II's brother. They list John Browne I's dates (b. 1467-d, 1504). They list his wife's name as Alice Illiesworth, but that must ba a mistake for so such person ever existed. I believe there was an Alice Tillesworth, daughter of Henry Tillesworth. Though some sources do appear in that site none are for Robert Browne, Ann Gardiner, John Brown I,or his wife.
