12 Mar 2014Hi, I would like to volunteer to add to my tree, although my time is limited. I have read the Honor code and agree to abide by it. About myself: I have been working on my family tree for about 14 years, based on work started by my mother, who inspired me (and still does). My mother?s family is from various lines in Pennsylvania. ,My father?s family is from California (English and Dutch who gradually came west from Virginia), also Ireland, Italy, Native American, and French. I am also working on my children?s father?s tree, which like mine goes back to early Virginia on his father?s side. I am a member of DAR and have ancestors on both sides who served in the Revolutionary War. I have taken a DNA test, but am still waiting on the results. I think this is an amazing project.
