This allows a reasonable assumption that the birth record for Piet Kremers, born 1 Sept., 1867 in Gassel, Noord-Brabant, Nederland to parents Peter Kremers and Johanna Kerkhof[2] is for the same person, Peter Kremers, who immigrated to the United States in the 1880s or 1890s and lived in Wisconsin and Oregon and whose grave is located in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA.[3]
