Emilia Bassano married Alfonso Lanier, "one of her Majesties musicians," on 18 October 1592 at St. Botolph, Aldgate, in London. They were both living in the Minories at the time.

(Holy Trinity Minories was a parish just north of the Tower of London, and south of St. Botolph parish.) It was not a happy marriage but it lasted 21 years, until Alfonse died in 1613. Alfonse and Emelia had a son, Henry Lanier, a flutist trained by his uncle Andrea.

Emillia Lanier, "pensioner," was buried 3 April 1645 at St. James, Clerkenwell. [5]

Odillia Laniere, "daughter of Alphonso," baptized 2 December 1598, St. Margaret's Church, Westminster. [7] She died when she was ten months old and is buried at St. Botolph's, Bishopsgate, in London. [Source?]
