I've been researching the family of Rev Francis McCleland, 1820 British Settler, who is the progenitor in my husband's family tree. I also have a copy of the book Churchouse, Gabrielle. Reverend Francis McCleland: Colonial Chaplain to Port Elizabeth 1825-1853: a family history. Pretoria: HSRC, 1976. There are a few instances of incorrect information in the book which I've discovered after finding sources of information to correct them. I've also found considerable new information via internet.
