Looking to connect with my Cherokee heritage?

My Genology profile is: Caserta-7 or Caserta Caserta.

Looking to find my Cherokee great grandmother from the 16-1700’s.

I would like to find out some information to being related to a “Cherokee Woman” as she was known.  I’ve located her Cherokee name as possibly being“Innocue”.   She later married William Thacker; my possible great grandfather, in Virginia.  Cherokee woman later went by the married name of Cassie Thacker-    Both William Thacker and Cassie were born in possibly late 1600’s and died in 1700’s and had at least 2 children with the last name Thacker.

Cassie Thacker has a profile here on Wikitree - Unknown-386327.  So far no one has provided information that would connect her to the Cherokee or another tribe. “Innconue” was not her name, it simply means “Unknown” .  According to the information on her profile she did not live in or near the Cherokee Nation.

I found information about Cassie that has a Cherokee Tribe stamp or badge.

Regardless if she has ties to being Cherokee, I need to find out if she is my ancestor grandmother. Her ethnicity is irrelevant but thanks for that info
