Advice before adding of this pre-1700 Livingston profile?

I can add a father to the profile of Alexander (Livingston) Livingstone. This is who I can add: William Livingston of Craigengall and Ogleface

These are the sources I am using:

Seventh Report on the Royal Commission on historical manuscripts pg 734.

An article written by EB Livingston, author of The Livingstons of Callender and Their Principal Cadets called Ulster King of Arms and the Lairds of Westquarter.

The Livingstons of Callender and Their Principal Cadets by Edwin Brockholst Livingston

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Hi Amanda,  both the sources you're proposing look good but please use the expanded citations you've included in Alexander Livingston's profile smiley

If you've got Scottish interests, you might be interested in joining the Scotland Project whose reliable sources page is at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Scotland_Project_Reliable_Sources

Thank you Sheena ! I will do that, and will add more info as and when I find it. I wasn't sure if this was enough for a pre-1700 profile. I will take a look at the Scotland Project, I do have a lot of Scottish ancestors, I also have a lot of English and Irish ancestors too.
