 ? - Please , a Cemetery for Phillack, Cornwall - - -

I know it as Phillack , and FaG call it Penzance, Cornwall Unitary Authority, Cornwall, England : Burial  St Felicitas and St Piala Churchyard

Some details - = https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/151903711/henry-andrewartha =

 - ps Edit :  Henry Andrewartha

I have added a space page for the Cornwall V's FaG cemetery profiles , which shows they are 'all over the place' - with variations in spelling/location/description/duplicates - - and also are they cemeteries - churchyards - graveyards - parishes - aka's - Saints - -

So the ? is : what is wikitree policy on all this please , before another profile is created - -

thank you - cheers - ja.

Not certain about what you're actually asking. Personally, I hate FAG'S use of 'unitary authorities' in their location field. It ends up on here with people having a death location that wouldn't be recognised by anyone prior to the last part of the 20th C.

I don't know of anyone who uses the name of their  unitary authority as part of their address. Unitary authorities are not only   recent administrative areas but subject to change . ( the one I live in changed both area covered and name only last year).https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitary_authorities_of_England They are important  if you live  there ( you need to know who to pay your council tax to and who provides local services )

For  a  burial in a church yard, I would simply  categorise in the parish category; prior to the mid 19th C almost everyone was buried in their parish church yard or inside the church if they were wealthy. There are a few separate dissentors burial grounds.

  • However, there are some Cornwall church yards categorised here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Cornwall%2C_Cemeteries. Looking at them, there doesn't look to be a consistent format. Some include the church name, some just the name of the parish, no unitary authorities, I'm pleased to note. None contain very many profiles.

Thanks Helen Ford , I agree with your observation , which is why I have not created one - - - I will wait a little longer - ja

Now I might be wrong, but how I read it is that Henry died in Penrose Terrance in Penzance & was buried in St. Felicitas and St. Piala Churchyard in Phillack, Hayle, Cornwall.
