Biography
Richard Wright was born Jan 1619 (NOT 1620) in North Wingfield Derbyshire, just south of Chesterfield. He moved 13 miles west to Great Longstone in his teens.
His father was Edward Wright and his mother was Hellena Bateman. They had married in Bakewell June 16/1617, very near Great Longstone.
Richard's first wife was Joan Harrison but she passed away in April 1646 and could not have been Thurston Wright's mother. 2nd wife unknown.
