John Simson Woolson was born about December 6, 1840 in Tonawanda, Erie County, New York, United States, son of Theron Webb Woolson and Clarissa (Simson) Woolson.[1]
John married Miranda Thornton (Bird) Woolson (born in Fredrichston, Knox County, Ohio USA). Their son was Paul Bird Woolson (~1873–<1953).
