When I suggested that the profiles of my 4th grt grandmother, Wyatt-1873 and Wyatt-5208 be merged, it was because they are listed as twin sisters. They have the same parents. They have the same husband. They have the same mother. They have the same father. They also have the same birthday and date of death. But, if you're sure they are not the same person....... It's fine with me

Hi Chris. I originally had Martha Brookshire in my tree because I thought she was in my great-grandfather's line. He was James William Gibson, b. 1849 in De Witt, Carroll CO, MO., wife Eliza E. Winfrey. Then I saw that I was confusing my g-grandfather with James W. Gibson, b. 1850 in nearby Linn CO, MO, wife Eliza E. I still haven't found the parents of my J.W. but in my research I found out that a great many of the MO Gibsons were related so there still might be a connection.

Hi Christopher :) I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of our GEDCOM import process including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our Before You Import a GEDCOM help page. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
Hello,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going? Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Welcome to the Mayflower Project, Christopher. Be sure to add MAYFLOWER to your followed tags so that you can track the group in G2G.
Christopher,

We are glad you are here, and look forward to the help you can give growing our world-wide tree. Please note that many experienced, even certified, genealogists have worked on the older portions. It is a good idea to ask the project leaders before changing any information on those Mayflower profiles, etc. I'm sure you will have a lot to add and hopefully much to gain. Welcome! April D. D.
