Mark was born in 1961 at St. Lukes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He died at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on 3/1/2021. He would have been 60 on 5/22/2021, the day his remains were buried.
Parents: David Lewis "Dave" Whitfield 1937 - 2023 and Rosalie Ann (Boyer) Whitfield.

Mark was the oldest child in the family. His middle name Douglas was to honor his Great Grandfather, Edward Douglas Whitfield 1870 - 1941. Mark lived in St. Louis, Missouri. Stone Mountain, Georgia. Falls Church, Virginia. Norfolk, Virginia while he attended Old Dominon University. Chesterfield, Missouri.
Mark passed away 3/1/2021 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was an organ donor so many will benefit from his gift. He leaves behind his parent's, 2 brothers and 1 sister. He never married but was a favorite Uncle to his 3 Nieces and 3 Nephews. He was known for fun toys that made lots of noise for gifts when they were young. Mark was a graduate of Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia, class of 1979.
