Biography

Maud was born in 1907, in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England, to Charles Stearn and his wife Maud Foslett [1][2]

In the 1911 census, Maud is referred to as Millie and is recorded living with her parents and siblings in Tamworth, Stafforshire, England. [3]

On 6th November, 1924, Maud is recorded with her parents, Audrey, and Frederick, aboard the ship "SS Baradine" , departure from London, destination Sydney, Australia. Their address recorded on the ships records was 17, Victoria Park, Weston Super Mare. [4]


Research Notes

Charles F., Maude E., and Maude A. returned from Australia on the ship 'Jervis Bay'. They arrived in Southampton on the 18th of March 1928.[5]
