Biography

Clara Lorene (Smith) Doyle Buslach, age 84, of Vancouver, WA passed away today 3 Feb 2016 from complications of Alzheimer's.

Clara was born in Missouri on Jan 2, 1932 the daughter of Walter L & May Belle (Behrent) Smith. She married Lester J "Pat" Doyle on Feb 27 1950 in Vancouver. They raised 3 children in Vancouver, Tom, Diana & Dorothy. She divorced Pat in 1971 and married Bill Buslach on Feb 2, 1974, they later divorced.

Clara was diagnosed with Alzheimer's after her retirement from Vancouver Memorial Hospital where she has worked for several years as a housekeeper and ending as an anesthesia aide in the OR. Clara enjoyed her work and loved her family, She was always there when anyone needed anything. Clara loved crafts, and gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Surviving her are her daughters, Diana Thomas of Vancouver, & Dorothy Walker of Seattle. Her grandchildren: Steve Farnsworth, Jesse (Cherie) Farnsworth, Clara (Daren) Chard, all of Vancouver, Tim Jackson of Vancouver, WA, Shawn Doyle of Boise, ID, Nikki Doyle, Jon Doyle of Bend, OR, Dallas Doyle of CA, Tor Walker of Seattle, Tara Walker of AZ, & her sister's-in-law; Arlene Smith of Vancouver, and Eileen Gunther of CA & several great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands, Pat in 2000 & Bill in 1989 her son Tom in 2006 and her two brothers Bill in 2004 and Dave in 2001.

Services will be held at Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home Sun., Feb 7, 2016, 2 p.m. with a private inurement at Memory Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
