Rosie (Smith) Heyward is a part of US Black heritage.

Rosie Smith was born about 1863, daughter of Peter Smith (~1835–~1880) and Silvy Unknown (1847– ).

Rosie (17) married Morris Heyward (25) (born about Apr 1855 in South Carolina; son of Edward Heyward and Emma (Unknown) Heyward) on 27 Jun 1878.[1]

In 1920, Rosa (56) was in the household of Morris Heyward in Coosawhatchie, Jasper, South Carolina. [4]

Rosie died on 11 Jan 1928 in Coosawhatchie, Jasper, United States, aged about 64.[5] [6] [7]
