My adoptive last name is Shoup however my biological last name is Blake. I am researching both of my family lines & am looking for additional information for each of them.
The Shoup part of the family is from Indiana Co, Pennsylvania (believed to have immigrated from Germany). I have traced this line back to who would be my 5th great grandfather Henry Shoup Sr (1753 - 1833) & this is where I am stuck.
My Blake family is from New Jersey (immigrated from Ireland). I don't have a lot of information on this line, I have it traced back to my 2nd great grandfather Patrick Joseph Blake (1883-1940).
I would greatly appreciate any assistance that anyone could provide.
