Henry Scott was born in 1850 in Tennessee. His parents are unknown, but both were born in Tennessee. He was born into slavery, but his owner is unknown. In 1870 he is working for Alfred Hoskins as a farm hand.
By 1880 Henry is married to Victoria (maiden name unknown. He had five step-children and five children between him and Victoria. He spent his life farming and by 1900 he owned his own farm. By 1910 he had moved to Oklahoma was living with his daughter Mattie and her family. His death and burial are unknown.
1870 census Henry (age 20) was in Justice Precinct 3, Bowie, Texas.[1]
