his mother is isabella Somerville born abt 1754 in lauder Berwickshire and died 1843(information from gravestone that i saw in abt 2012 or 2013. i dont think she married John's father. she is a brickwall.

Hi Valerie, yes i have downloaded it already. John Robertson retired lime burner married to Elizabeth Donaldson. Died 22 May 1862 at causewayhead cottage, logie aged 82. Parents listed as George Robertson, farmer(deceased) and Isabella Robertson M.S. Somerville(deceased). Cause was old age and general debility. Informant was his son C.T. Robertson.(Charles Thom or Thorn Robertson). Isabella is in 1841 census as Somerville living with John
