I do not know much. Its my understanding that my paternal line comes from Scranton, Pa area, many worked for the coal mines. I am W F Regan IV so I somewhat confident that my Great-grandfather was also W F Regan. According to Y DNA results and a project at FamilyTreeDNA my paternal line goes back to southwest (Cork area) Ireland and is associated with O'Regans. My paternal grandmother comes from Carbondale Pa and thats all I really know. Theres a strong chance that her people came from around Mayo Ireland.
Maternal Line: Campagna, pretty confident but not certain that her line comes from Mineo Sicily, Italy. Lived in Queens and Bronx NY. According to my grandmother the Gartelman line came from Breman Germany. Lived in Upper Manhattan (westside) and Bronx. My maternal Great-grandfather (Charles Gartelman) was Grand Master for a Bronx Masonic chapter. And the Lubben line came from Alsace-Lorraine (borders Germany and France). She also claims that her maternal grandfather, Henery Zietz was orphaned and his only sister went west.
