Biography

Darrel was born in 1928 to Clyde Willis Rainford and Florence "Dolly" LaBrie Rainford. He married Bonnie Jean LaChance at Turton, Spink, SD on Dec 26, 1949. He joined the Air Force and served in Texas during the Korean War. Then they moved to St Paul, Minnesota where he worked for Northwest Airlines as aircraft maintenance (later Delta Airlines.) They had seven children, 4 girls and 3 boys. He passed away in 2005 of multiple myeloma in West St Paul, MN USA. Find A Grave: Memorial #16275267

In retirement, he wrote a series of articles about life on a family farm. He called it How Things Worked.
