Hi Dorothy,

On behalf of the Netherlands project I changed the LNAB of Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman per your request:

17 Feb 2022

23:15: Netherlands Project WikiTree edited the Status Indicators for Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman (1820-1883). (Minor corrections. )

23:14: Netherlands Project WikiTree edited the First Name, Current Last Name, Preferred Name and Status Indicators for Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman (1820-1883). (Minor corrections. )

23:06: Netherlands Project WikiTree merged Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman Krikke (1820-1883) into Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman (1820-1883). (Krikke-27 into Pijlman-48 for new LNAB: As recorded in birth certificate.)

23:06: Netherlands Project WikiTree recreated Hendrik Hendriks Pijlman (1820-1883) from Krikke-27 for new LNAB.

Kind Regards, Jan

Thanks so much, Jan. I will get my Pijlman gedcom in order and submit it to Wikitree. A later Pijlman woman married into the Wind family (my late husband's line) and came to New York state in the 1890s.

I did most of my Netherlands research many years ago and was so grateful for the ease of access to records.

Yes Dorothy, would be nice to see the Pijlman branch extended. But please be aware that importing gedcom can result in disappoiniting presentation of profiles.

Indeed, Dutch sources were easy to find, and even more so these days with sites like OpenArchives and WieWasWie.

Any questions or help needed on Dutch matters? Just post on G2G with tag netherlands!

Hi Dorothy!

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

The United States Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).
