Christopher Milne is Notable.

Christopher was born 21 Aug 1920 at 11 Mallord Street, Chelsea, London, England. He was the son of A A Milne and Daphne de Sélincourt. [1] His father was a successful Punch writer and playwright.[2] One rainy holiday in Wales, A.A. Milne began writing poems for Christopher Robin. These were published in When We Were Young (1924). Winnie the Pooh (1926), Now We Are Six (1927), and House at Pooh Corner (1928). All depict scenes and thoughts from the life of the young Christopher.

Christopher attended Boxgrove Preparatory School, Guildford; Stowe School, Buckinghamshire and Trinity College, Cambridge. He spent the World War II years in the Middle East and Italy.[3]

Christopher married Lesley de Selincourt in 1948. [4] They were the parents of one child, Clare Milne, who was born with Cerebal Palsy.[5] (1956-2012)[6]

Milne and his wife founded the successful Harbour Bookshop in Dartsmouth and were able to live on their own earnings, funneling all his father's royalties into the Clare Milne Trust which offers grants for disability projects.[7]

Christopher Milne passed away at Teignbridge, Devon, England[8] on 20 Apr 1996.[9]
