Welcome Peter!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are building one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.

It is important to check for duplicates as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Instead of making another profile of the same person, we add our sources to profiles which match ours and are already on WikiTree.

See How to Use WikiTree to be quickly oriented.

Our list of Projects offers unique ways to participate in WikiTree.

Visit our G2G Forum for answers to questions like this one: How do you find sources?

Thank you for joining us in building our shared tree.

Ever since I first started contributing to Wikipedia, I've been convinced that all the world's most vexing problems can be solved through crowd-sourcing. As such, when I stumbled onto WikiTree and found not a single family member on it, I knew I wanted to roll up my sleeves and add everything I knew about my family to this amazing concept. Genealogy has never been a big interest of mine, but I can imagine contributing to WikiTree might just change all that.
