Biography
Francesco Maria Simone was born about 1785. He was the son of Giacomo Macchione and Maria Ortale. In many records he is simply referred to as Simone Macchione.
He married Maria Sicilia, daughter of Fedele Sicilia and Rosaria Vercillo, on 14 July 1805, in Belsito.
Together they had many children, and are named as parents on their marriage records.[1]
Maria passed away in 1847, after 42 years of marriage, and at least 45 years of being a couple.
Two years later, on 14 July 1849, Simone married Innocenza Maria Musso, in Belsito. Simone enjoyed twenty years of marriage with his second wife.
Simone died around 9 in the evening on 28 April 1869 in Belsito.
