Biography
Elizabeth was born in Rye, England in 1800. She was the daughter of James Knight and Mary Thatcher.
Her father passed away and her mother remarried Thomas Godfrey.
Elizabeth emigrated to Australia with her brothers. Elizabeth was Governess to the family of Lt Governor of Western Australia James Stirling [1]
She passed away in Perth, in 1877 and is buried with her brother William. [2] Inscription: In Memory Of William Knight Died 6th Novr. 1881, Aged 79 Years And Of His Sister Elizabeth Knight Died 1st June 1877, Aged 77 Years
