Biography

Franklin was born in 1870. He was the son of Olof Olsson and Jugas-Kerstin Carlsdotter. He passed away in 1948.

• In May 1905 Frank W. Johnson and his sister, Christina Johnson, were determined by the Probate Court of Isanti Co. to be the sole living heirs of Bunsa-Charles Anderson. They all had the same mother, Kerstin "Stina" (Carlsdotter) Anderson, dec'd. Christina was present at Frank's birth and when they were given up for adoption.

Frank was an illegitimate son of Olof "Ole" Olsson. Her pregnant mother left Sweden with his sister Christina and he was born in MN.

At 8 months, Frank was first adopted by James and Matilda Simmons who wanted a boy. But two years later she gave birth to her own son so Frank was returned to his mother, Stina. That same year he was successfully adopted by Bertil (Johannesen) Johnson and his wife Libby.
