Biography

Anthony, son of Anthony, was baptised on 25 March 1707 in Yarm, Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[1]

On 22 December 1722 Anthony Harrison, son of Eunice Harrison, widow[2], was apprenticed to Richard Conyers (1669-1741), apothecary of Yarm.[3]

Anthony Harrison married Martha Perrott on 4 February 1734 at High Worsall, Yorkshire, England. They were both of Yarm; Anthony Harrison was an apothecary. Martha's father Andrew Perott was a merchant of Hull.[4][5]

On 4 February 1743 (1742 old style) Anthony Harrison, apothecary of Yarm, York, took on apprentice Pixall Kitching.[6]

Anthony Harrison had died before 1795.[7] A 1791 death notice from Musgrave's Obituaries probably refers to him: :HARRISON, Anth., at Norton, near Stockton, 6 Sep, 1791. (E.M. 240)[8]

E.M. stands for "The European Magazine and London Review "
Norton is seven miles north of Yarm.
