Birth assumed to be about 1740.
Robert Harris of the parish of St Peter Colebrook [Winchester] married Kitty Fox of Owslebury by license on 25 February 1779 in Winchester, St Maurice, Winchester St Maurice, Hampshire, England. The witnesses were John Garratt and Petter Fox. Robert Harriss married Fox on 25 February 1779 in Winchester St Maurice, Hampshire, England.[1]
Their first children were born and christened in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, but Robert and Kitty moved to Cobham between 1784 and 1786 when their next child, George, was born. From 1786 onwards, their children were christened in Cobham, Surrey.
Mentioned in his brother John’s Will (proved in 1815) as a carpenter in Cobham, Surrey. He was the first mentioned sibling and is therefore assumed to be the eldest.
