On 24 November 1928 in Brisbane, he married Gwendolen Maud Wilson.[2]
He passed away on 23 September 1959 in Mt Olivet Hospital, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane.[3] Frederick was interred in St Mary's Anglican Church Columbarium, Brisbane.[4]
