Greetings. This profile has been identified by the Database Errors Project as having an event take place in the future! Please help us keep WikiTree accurate, and input a correct date. Even if it's an estimate or guess! Thank you.

Hi Heidi,

Ebenezer Mason-1523 is in my direct family line. Would you please add me to his trusted list so that I can keep informed of updates to his profile?

Thank you, Sharon

I only found this again bc I ran a google of myself. I ceased using wikitree years ago so I'm not updating anything here. Good luck with your research.

I see some misunderstanding of how to list dates recorded in colonial records before 9/1752(under the Julian calendar). One lists the ORIGINALLY RECORDED DATE BUT MAY ADD A SLASH FOR THE ADJUSTED DATE - ONE NEVER uses only the 'adjusted' date. I choose to use the originally recorded date - changing the date to months later to "adapt" to the calendar change is bad genealogical practice since those who know how the dating works are aware that the date is the originally recorded date. To do otherwise calls our research into question and causes unnecessary confusion.
